We pride ourselves on being an extremely simple and intuitive platform to manage projects. Getting started with FloTask is super easy and doesn't take long to feel your way around. Part of the reason it's so easy to get around is because we are not such a feature-heavy application, with just the most essential features needed to manage projects.
However, there are still some features that we would like to build out. We believe that these features will help improve the overall experience of FloTask. Take a look below, and let us know if there are any features that you would like to see as well!
We love our calendar feature and believe that it is extremely important to the overall experience of FloTask, however we fully understand it's limitations. Google Calendar is such a widely used and accepted method to schedule important events. Which is why we are working on integrating it with FloTask. So anytime you schedule an event on FloTask, it will automatically be added to your Google Calendar as well. This way, you can have all of your events on Google Calendar, but also have it documented on FloTask to keep your individual projects organized.
Currently, we provide the ability to track financial transactions only for individual projects. We would like to provide the ability to track all financial transactions related to your freelance business. That can include equipment purchases, software subscriptions, website domain/hosting etc. By keeping track of every dollar going in and out of your business, you'll get a better understanding of your freelance businesses overall financial standing. This is an important feature that we hope to have ready within two to three months.
Sending out proposals is an integral part of the client onboarding process. The problem is that when you get to the point where you are sending more than 5 per month, you may start to lose track of how many you've sent and what the responses to each were. With our proposal tracker, you can easily document proposals you've sent and the response you got from them. This way, when someone calls or emails you about a proposal you sent out, you won't have to scramble to figure out which one at the last minute.
